L'ultimo nato è Google Chrome (basato anch'esso Mozilla platform).
Someone appreciates the extensibility of Firefox, the stability of the Opera, the universality of the Explorer and so on. The truth is that one can never tell what is the fastest browser of all: you should have the test on your own, and your system.
Meanwhile, my system: MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz, 4 GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667 MHz, Mac OS 10.6.4.
Here you see the browser I tried, downloaded from yesterday, to date, without extensions or other things whatsoever. The unvarnished version. I used Peacekeeper , a benchmark that puts the browser to whip a little 'in all ways. Here are the results:
Obviously, you can enlarge for easier reading by clicking on it.
The total value Overall, says flatly that Chrome is the best. And even in the individual specifications, we find that where it is not in first position, is in second, making it the best browser in the round. E 'among other things monstrous in Sun operations, which are those features that access and modify a document XML "shrill" in memory and ultimately making it open more quickly and profitably. Opera, ranked second, excels in graphics: rendering, complex graphics are his feuds, and is also excellent in text parsing, ie calculation of tables of hexadecimal values. Chrome in all this is "only" in the second position. From Safari is an Apple program, one would expect it to be much faster than others on an Apple system. Surprise surprise, comes to gluing by Opera, but still behind Chrome. The best social networking for - facebook, twitter, myspace - and the Sun operations , Barely behind the ubiquitous Chrome. For Firefox
a chapter in a bitter disappointment. I've always been a supporter of fox Mozillians, but honestly some releases here I noticed the slow and cumbersome program. And then came Chrome, and office (Windows) I had already seen that it was far faster. Here's the proof: on my system, Firefox is good only for making toast or pizza, and do not excel in anything. This, no extension that encumbers.
I then used other benchmarks that you can also use you, I list them:
- V8 benchmark suite Google
- CSS
